Overview of EDF EN Canada Inc.

Our contribution to energy diversification and environmental protection puts us at the forefront of the fast-expanding renewable energy industry in Canada.

A subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, EDF EN Canada was incorporated in 2008.  In just two years, EDF EN Canada has pioneered project management and site implementation for key wind and solar opportunities in Canada.  Our installed solar capacity is expanding, with 60 MW operating at the end of 2010 and an additional 12 MW planned to be in service by the end of 2011. Wind capacity contracted between EDF EN Canada and Hydro Quebec, which is currently under construction, will exceed 1,000 MW in the period 2012-15.

We take an integrated approach to project development, and provide extensive services along the entire value chain, from project origination and implementation to electricity generation.  Working closely with owners and developers, our in-house team has the expertise and resources to manage all stages of project delivery.  Our team provides on-going Operations and Maintenance services through enXco Service (Canada) Corporation, ensuring optimal project performance and profitability.

With our experience and meticulous attention to detail, we ensure that green electricity stays in the black.
