Overview of EDF EN Canada

Our contribution to energy diversification and environmental protection puts us at the forefront of the fast-expanding renewable energy industry in Canada.

A subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, EDF EN Canada was incorporated in 2008.  Since that time, EDF EN Canada has pioneered project management and site implementation for key wind and solar opportunities in Canada.  We have developed over 70 MW of solar throughout Ontario.  Wind capacity contracted between EDF EN Canada and Hydro Quebec, which is currently under construction, will exceed 1,000 MW in the period 2012-15.

We take an integrated approach to project development, and provide extensive services along the entire value chain, from project origination and implementation to electricity generation.  Working closely with owners and developers, our in-house team has the expertise and resources to manage all stages of project delivery.  Our team provides on-going Operations and Maintenance services through EDF Renewable Services, ensuring optimal project performance and profitability.
