La Mitis

On the strength of its experience in the process of implementing the Lac-Alfred wind farm, the MRC de La Mitis established a major partnership with EDF EN Canada, a major player in wind energy development.             

To this effect, the MRC created, and holds at 100%, the Énergie renouvelable de La Mitis company, that holds a part of the capital stock of our community wind project.

The La Mitis wind farm project is therefore developed under common ownership with these two partners, for the MRC de La Mitis population.
