Liaison Committee

The Liaison Committee was established to facilitate the contribution of the community in the development of the Rivière-du-Moulin Wind Farm while taking into consideration the interests of land users and encouraging the participation of local businesses. The committee is composed of representatives of the municipality, the MRC, private landowners, environmental protection agencies, land use groups and CLDs. The objectives of the committee are to:

• Ensure effective communication between residents, land users and EDF-EN Canada;
• Identify issues related to the development of the wind farm;
• Recommend satisfactory solutions to stakeholders;
• Encourage participation of local businesses.
